Best Hiking Trails
While not the premier hiking spot, these easy trails are a great way to unwind after a day at the lake. The trail is great for children, seniors, and everyone in between.
High Point Trail
Distance: 1.8 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Located on the northern shore of Lake Proctor, High Point Trail allows you to take a brisk, 30-minute walk on the shores of the lake. It's a popular running trail, and some guests casually cycle around it if they brought a bike.
Cottonwood Circle
Distance: 1 mile
Difficulty: Easy
This dog-friendly trail is even shorter than High Point. It's perfect for pups and children. Birdwatching the Cottonwood Circle is also popular, as waterfowl are incredibly common in the area. The scissor-tailed flycatcher (a fairly common bird in the area) can be found on this loop. Bring your binoculars!
